CORPI Gestió Integral de l’Aigua SL has been awarded with the expansion project for the waste water treatment plant of Begudà, municipal district of Sant Joan les Fonts, promoted by Consell Comarcal de la Garrotxa within the framework agreement signed with Consell Comarcal de la Garrotxa, City council of Sant Joan Les Fonts and the companies Noel Alimentària SAU and Sarval Bio-Industries, SLU.

 The project has been drawn up by the consortium SIGMA following the project technical specifications of the competent authority.

 Nowadays, the WWTP has a treatment capacity of 1.300 m³/day. The project will enhance the treatment capacity in 1.600 m³/day, therefore, the total treatment capacity of the installation will be 2.900 m³/day.

 This project involves the pre-treatment consisted of three steps (coarse grinding, fine screening and grit removal) and a biological treatment with two sequential batch reactors, each with a 1.000 m³ volume.

 The implementation time limit of the project is twelve months.
