Corpi Gia was awarded the public tender of the Consorci d’Aigües de la Costa Brava to carry out the work to improve the discharge of sludge in the silo of the Lloret de Mar treatment plant.

The improvement consists of:

• Replacement of the current pump by a variable displacement helical pump with temperature sensor and forced ventilation for motor cooling.
• Inlet hopper with large diameter and worm drive.
• Incorporation of a guillotine shut-off valve in the outlet pump pipeline .

The execution of the work also includes the modification of the electrical panel with the inclusion of a new drive and its incorporation into the existing PLC. The work has been completed after successfully carrying out a maximum load test load test.
