Washing, dying and printing processes in ESTAMPATS GASERANS generate wastewater that have to be treated in a treatment plant (WWTP). This plant consists of an aerated homogenization step and subsequent physical-chemical treatment with the addition of reagents.

Corpi Gia’s work has consisted of automating the neutralization of the water with a pH controller and an alkali dosing pump, replacing the air blower for homogenization with a new compressor that allows working at 9 meters of water column (previously limited to 3 meters) and the expansion of the homogenization volume with a new 100 m3 tank that has been connected to the two current tanks.

These modifications have made it possible to reduce the biodegradable matter concentration in the outlet water.
