CORPI GIA S.L. obtained the highest score in the public tender “ARE-240 New Centrifuge WWTP-Phase 1”, promoted by the Consell Comarcal del Maresme and the ACA (Catalan Water Agency) through SIMMAR (Servicios Integrales de Mantenimiento del Maresme S.L.).

The works included in the entire project are:

• Relocation of the flocculant pumps.
• Dismantling, removal, and management as waste of the equipment to be replaced in phase 1.
• Demolition of the old pillars from the civil works supporting the old centrifuge.
• Construction of the new pillars and access structure.
• Installation of the new centrifuge, dosing pumps for polyelectrolyte, dehydrated sludge pump to storage silo, and flowmeters for sludge and polyelectrolyte.
• Pipelines involved in the process, from thickened sludge to the storage silo.
• Installation of the control and operation electrical panel for the new centrifuge.
• Integration of the new equipment into the SCADA control system.
• Modification of the gas extraction system to adapt it to the new centrifuge.
• Operational testing.

The execution period is 30 weeks.
